Oil of Spikenard is a spiritual oil that is relaxing.
o Spikenard, also called nard, nardin, and muskroot, is a class of aromatic amber-colored essential oil derived from Nardostachys jatamansi. o It was highly regarded in India as a perfume, skin tonic and supports health. o Spikenard was one of the last oils received by Jesus before his arrest. - Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus’ feet at the Last Supper with a salve of Spikenard. - Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:3 NIV 
Properties of Spikenard
Spikenard oil has a warm, misty, heavy aroma, is pale yellow in color and medium in viscosity. o antibacterial - A potent remedy for many skin ailments that result from bacterial infections. It not only works on the skin, but also helps terminate bacterial growth inside the body as well.
